This hero? He was imba and now is even more... With the change in 6.60 his ulti and rabid now have significant effect on his power.

The spirit bear at lvl 1 can now carry item(good, courier now). Get him quelling blade and farm as the bear dmg early game is better than the hero. My style maybe different from others though. max out bear and 3rd skill(dmg +move spd) as the entangle oso have a big change. It entagles the 1st target hitted by the bear(haf cooldown) so get him phase boots and chase down heroes as he does not benefit from stats. For syllabear just get him power tread. Okay... Rabid affects both bears now... if enemy c 2 big bear run out from fog then thats a bad sign.

Late game items:
Syllabear:
-Power Tread
-Offering
-SnY/Deso
-Basher? (the 2x combo basher with the bear is still famous)
-Bfly

Spirit Bear:
-Phase Boots
-Assault Cuirass
-Radiance(u should know that this bear is very fast, just follow dying hero and u get the kill)
-Basher(above)
-Bfury 2x

Agree on skill description.Spirit bear now have laods of chasing power even with or w/o Rabid(3rd skill of Sylla), a very useful chasing power even w/o needing the bear to have a boots. However IMO, a normal pub or even a high level game would not last as long as till you would get FULL item for both Sylla and his spirit bear, so I suggest u do a Bfly- Basher rush or either deso-Basher rush, each to sylla and his spirt bear. With the change in v6.64, Syllabear's imba ulti has been changed so badly that the movespeed is reduced... this is to purposedly reduce the use of ulti from fearful chasing to only engaging. You won't escape any battle in this form anymore. Furthermore, with the slow cast time, be ready to fight to the death Laughing
